Construction continues to move forward at 1022 Wise Ferry Road, and one of the home's most anticipated spaces is beginning to take shape—the expansive covered back porch overlooking Lake Murray.
Designed to be a true extension of the home's interior, this outdoor living area was envisioned with both comfort and timeless design in mind. Rather than simply adding a porch, the team focused on creating a space that can be enjoyed year-round for relaxing, entertaining, and taking in the lake views.

Builder Andy Shelton, owner of Birch Home Builders, shared that every detail was selected to make the space as livable as the interior of the home. The porch will feature an integrated television, built-in speakers, and a striking custom fireplace clad in Icelandic volcanic rock with a distinctive herringbone firebrick surround.
Underfoot, bluestone flooring provides a classic, enduring finish that complements the home's stucco and brick exterior, tying the architecture together while reinforcing the estate's timeless character.
This outdoor retreat is just one example of the thoughtful collaboration behind the Wise Ferry project.
