One of the causes closest to our hearts is Original Design, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based right here in Columbia.
Original Design’s mission is simple yet profound: to reveal the love of God to children through mentorship and community giveback programs. Their goal is to help kids ages 8–12 grow in life skills, confidence, relationships, and faith.
Our involvement goes beyond financial contributions. Through SVR’s very own Anne Wilkins Brooks’s board service, Southern Visions Realty offers continued advocacy, volunteer support,
and public awareness for Original Design’s mission.
We believe every child deserves the chance to grow with guidance, love, and opportunity—and that local businesses have a responsibility to help make that possible.
In South Carolina, children face real challenges. According to the 2025 KIDS COUNT Data Book, our state ranks 38th in overall child well-being, with many families facing barriers in education, health, and economic opportunity.
