What began as a treasured family recipe has grown into one of South Carolina's most beloved dining destinations.
Founded in 2016 by Jody Kreush and her son Richard, Cinnamon Roll Deli was inspired by Jody's grandmother's love of homemade cooking and a Hawaiian sweet bread recipe she discovered while visiting family. The result was a cinnamon roll unlike any other—soft, rich, handcrafted, and topped with signature cream cheese icing.
Since opening its original Devine Street location, the restaurant has become a destination for locals and visitors alike, earning national recognition from People Magazine, Food Network, Southern Living, and The Takeout, which named it Best Cinnamon Roll in the U.S. It has also been recognized as one of South Carolina's best bakeries.
While the cinnamon rolls may have put them on the map, guests quickly discovered there's much more on the menu—from stacked breakfast sandwiches and deli favorites to creative comfort food that keeps customers coming back. We'd also be remiss if we didn't mention one detail that might matter just as much as the cinnamon rolls to some folks: yes, they serve Coke products.
